Youngstown Fusion XT Gloves

Gripping ropes and grasping branches can be hard on anyone’s palms. That is why tree climbers should wear protective gloves whenever they attempt to scale trees, especially very tall trees. A fine specimen of these protective gears is the Youngstown Fusion XT Gloves.

The Fusion XT got its name because it is a fusion of natural leather and man-made synthetic material. This combination results in a tight-fitting yet comfortable glove that offers excellent protection.

The palm is made of supple and durable goatskin and is reinforced with a super saddle that extends over the palm to the outer half of the index finger until its tip and the inner half of the thumb. This is double-stitched with Kevlar thread to assure a secure attachment. The extra protection is provided in this area as it often bears the brunt of rope handling and tugging. The rest of the finger tips are also reinforced.

The back of the glove is made of a synthetic material that wicks moisture and removes heat. It provides a fit that is tight but not constricting thus assuring dexterity. Huge raised pads are sewn to protect the knuckles.

Stitching of all seams is reinforced guaranteeing durability and strength even with extended use and abuse. A terry cloth is included in the back of the thumb for wiping off sweat and dirt. The glove is washable in a machine but it should only be air dried.
