New Tribe Nikosi Arborist Saddle

New Tribe Nikosi Arborist Saddle

Featuring the first sit harness with two floating bridges, the New Tribe Nikosi Arborist Saddle provides you with full freedom of movement. You can turn, twist, or extend your reach without getting hampered by the waist belt or leg loops. This is possible because Nikosi’s unique double floating bridge design allows the waist belt and leg loops to move unimpeded by each other. The upper bridge is connected to the waist belt by two forged steel O-rings, while two other rings and a strap attach it to the lower bridge connecting the leg loops.

In addition to maximum flexibility, the Nikosi also offers maximum comfort. The waist belt is generously padded to prevent straining your back even when all sorts of climbing gear are fastened to it. It is also fitted with extra wide leg pads that cushion your hamstrings and gluteal muscles. You can hang for hours sitting on the saddle without tingly toes or numb feet. Two additional D-rings on the side of the waist belt can be used to attach optional suspenders for a more even distribution of your weight.

Plenty of gear can be carried by the saddles as its waist belt provides plenty of rings, hoops, and loops for the purpose. It has one aluminum ring at the back, two snap hooks, two carabiner loops, two gear loops, and two attachment slots intended for gear bags.

The leg straps can be adjusted to provide a perfect fit on your legs. They incorporate quick-release buckles which make adjustment quick and easy. The riser straps attaching the leg loops and the belt are also adjustable. This helps in balancing your weight between the waist belt and the leg loops. Also, a rear rescue loop is mounted on the waist belt in case you are unable to continue climbing on your own.

In spite of all the padding, loops, rings, and buckles, the New Tribe Nikosi Arborist Saddle remains lightweight, weighing less than 5 lbs.
